(WashingtonDC.CityRegions.Com, September 22, 2015 ) Springfield, Virginia (VA) -- The company arranged to have one of each doctor kit for kids from six different competitors on hand to observe how children and parents interact and play with those products in order to compare with how they interact and play with their own doctor kit for kids. Many parents pointed out that most of the competing products were not battery operated, did not have lights and sounds and were not motorized. It was noted that children lost interest in those toys rapidly. Children appeared to be interested in the motorized functionality of Play Basics' initial product; they wanted to follow it around and make it crash with objects in order to utilize the provided medical tools in various imaginary play scenarios. "This is what we were hoping for," stated the CEO of Perennial Innovation, the company that owns the Play Basics brand. "Our goal was to stand out from the competition by bringing motorized functionality to a traditional doctor kit for kids. This is a unique combination that appeals to children between the ages of three and ten," said the CEO.
Play Basics employees were on hand to provide direction and take notes comprising observations, criticisms and suggestions. The CEO clarified that he and his team will consolidate all notes and come up with a plan to improve their doctor kit for kids. "This way, we can progress towards a product that is more preferred by the market. We believe that there are several untapped markets that can be dominated by the convergence of ideas, technologies and/or themes such as the combination present in our introductory product," said the CEO.
