(WashingtonDC.CityRegions.Com, January 06, 2014 ) Washington, DC -- Former nanny Liz Smith, founder of After Vintage and the Ultimate Jewelry Creationz Loom Band Kit is excited about the launch of her new brand and product line. Conferences with parents have proved to be helpful with the product development and production. "I wanted to create something that parents would want for their children. So far, parents have been very responsive and supportive of out efforts to create real toys that inspire creativity" says Smith. Parents have been receptive of the new line of kits, which Smith couldn't' be more excited about. Smith claims, "We listened to what parents were saying and we tried to meet their needs and those of their children through a new kind of loom band kit that is focused on what parents really want for their daughters".
Smith's new product line consist of a loom band kit that focuses on developing creativity among young girls. The kits include 600 bands in 10 different colors, including glow in the dark bands, and jewel-like charms. Smith says, "We wanted to reignite creativity in young girls, something that we can never have too much of". Each kit is designed with different charms. "No two kits are alike, we don't put the same charms in every box. We mix it up, but in a playful way so that the little ones can experiment with different charms and looks".
After Vintage sells their Kits on Amazon.com and have garnered quite a following. "Our product is picking up momentum and we are developing a great following on Facebook". Future plans include adding refill band packs and adding rhinestone and other jewel-type charms to the kits. Smith says she looks forward to 2014 as the year of big and bright new things for After Vintage and, while she doesn't want to make any promises, she hopes girls everywhere have the opportunity to experience the magic that is After Vintage.
