(WashingtonDC.CityRegions.Com, August 17, 2015 ) Springfield, Virginia (VA) -- Play Basics announced that its new doctor kit ambulance toy will debut exclusively on Amazon.com in September. The toy features lights and sounds and includes patient and paramedic figurines, a syringe, thermometer, otoscope as well interactive blood pressure and x-ray displays and much more.
The toy ambulance includes built-in storage compartments that securely stow all components of the doctor kit. This functionality helps children understand the importance of tidiness. The toy vehicle provides a mute option as well as an option to enable or disable its ability to move around on its wheels with a unique "bump and go" mechanism.
"Medical toys for kids promote open-ended playtime and 'smart' play, two of this year's most popular trends according to the Toy Industry Association," said Craig Hayworth, Product Manager at Play Basics. Based on a study conducted by Play Basics, children are most attracted to the role play nature of the toy. For example, children immediately picked roles such as being the doctor (paramedic) or being the patient and proceeded to pretend play scenarios involving said roles. Children also appeared to appreciate the wide range of familiar sounds and musical tones and the ability to enable and disable the motorized functionality of the toy car.
Play Basics will provide a one (1) year warranty against manufacturing defects. "The quality and craftsmanship of our flagship product is such that it will last for many years, possibly decades," Mr. Hayworth said trustingly.
The doctor kit ambulance toy will initially retail for under $30.00.
