The E4 TPR Series kitchen tools include the following items, Julienne Peeler/Slicer, Ice Cream Scoop, Pizza Cutter and Apple Corer. Equipt4 says the kitchen tools will be sold exclusively on Amazon to start. There is a new website in development to showcase all of Equipt4's products. Eventually the kitchen tools and all of Equipt4's consumer product line will be available through their website.
Equipt4 designed the E4 TPR Series Kitchen Tools to fill the gap between the dollar store and higher end items. Through research the company discovered a need for quality, intermediate priced kitchen tools. The initial offering of a pizza cutter, julienne peeler/slicer, ice cream scoop and apple corer perform basic functions in the home kitchen setting. The business end of these tools is made from dishwasher safe stainless steel except for the Ice cream scoop which is made of aluminum alloy for extra strength. The handles are made of what Equipt4 refers to as TPR (thermoplastic rubber), which provides for a soft, comfortable grip.
Scott, the co-owner of Equipt4 LLC, has 25 years' experience in the restaurant business, adding credibility to the development process. When asked about these tools Scott said, "Equipt4 wanted to help make even the most mundane kitchen task more enjoyable and safer for the customer". When asked about the safety factor, Scott said, "The TPR handle is made of soft non-slip rubber which gives the user more control and leverage whether it's wet or dry". Scott says, having been in the restaurant business for so many years, He has seen many accidents caused by poorly designed kitchen utensils.
Equipt4 plans on adding to the E4 TPR Series Kitchen Tools as time goes on. A zester/grater and potato peeler are currently in the pipeline.
